Guide to Purchasing Diamonds
Discover all the unique characteristics of diamonds at Darry Ring and select the one that most closely resembles your partner.
The Four Cs of Diamonds
The carat, cut, color, and clarity of a diamond are the parameters that the world uses to evaluate its beauty. Discover the evaluation and assessment procedures that Darry Ring uses for every diamond, including the 4Cs of the GIA and our commitment to excellence at every stage of a stone's existence.
Slice
The term "diamond cut" refers to the proportionate balance of table percentage, depth percentage, and symmetry that is achieved after a rough diamond is cut and polished. It is a metric for the fire, brilliance, and sparkle of a diamond. The global GIA grading method for diamond cut divides diamonds into five categories: Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, and Poor. Since Fair or Poor grades of diamonds don't meet our high requirements for DR diamonds, we at Darry Ring won't accept poorly cut diamonds and won't sell them. We firmly believe that the cut quality is the most crucial element.
Vibrance
With a device known as a diamond color indicator, the color of a white diamond can be gradually altered from colorless to yellow. The Gemological Institute of America grades diamonds from D (colorless) to Z (yellowish), depending on their color. A diamond's value rises with proximity to colorless (D grade), which indicates rarity, except for colored diamonds. Darry Ring only accepts diamonds that fall into the "Colorless" and "Near-Colorless" categories on the diamond color scale, which is evidence of its unwavering commitment to great quality.
lucidity
Defects are regarded as being on the exterior or interior of the diamond and signify its clarity when they can be seen under a 10-power microscope. Diamonds with higher clarity grades, which range from I (imperfect) to the incredibly rare FL (flawlessly clear inside and out), have fewer flaws. Since Darry Ring is dedicated to offering only the best quality diamonds, it will not compromise its standards by selling diamonds that don't meet our strict specifications or have obvious faults.
"Diamond carat" refers to a diamond's weight, not its size. However, the carat weight of the diamond increases in proportion to its actual size. To view an example of a round-cut diamond, look at the sizes of the diamonds in the charts for different carat weights. The GIA states that 0.2 grams is equivalent to one carat in the metric system. Darry Ring measures diamonds to the closest 1/100th of a carat. One carat is equivalent to 100 points.
Gratitude
Darry Ring's diamonds are chosen for their outstanding quality and provenance through a rigorous independent inspection process. Based on the certification results, the world's leading gemological organizations, such as GIA, IGI, and NGTC, provide certificates or grading reports.
